The game has been updated to version 0.3.1266.
First, the important part: the connection to the server is now encrypted and checks that the client is talking to our server. A client installed earlier will not connect or update itself — download it once more in full from the Play section, the Portable archive. After that it updates itself again.
The headline of these builds is detention blocks. Guards now have a step between a warning and lethal force — arrest: the game offers “Surrender to the law”, and whoever surrenders is disarmed and walked to a detention block. New Gambell, Savoonga, the Battalion at the Weather station and Vault ED-17 have one; sentences are short, and the warden lets you out on bail.
You can now report a bug or suggest an idea right from the game: next to the version number in the top-left corner there are a bug and a light bulb. A screenshot is attached automatically, and once the report is sent the game names its card.
The PDA Diary has become an adventure journal: it keeps everything and can be narrowed down to quests, the world, your character or factions, and the Sections button lists every PDA section. Caravan roles now have duties of their own — the Lead, the Mechanic, the Scout and the Trader. Updates are lighter: the game downloads only what changed. Maps are tidier: you can no longer walk through vehicles, and the exit bands to the global map run straight and reach the edge.
And about build 0.3.1209, which we did not announce here: fractures and eye injuries can now be treated with splint and eye care kits, NPCs walk through doors, traders have appeared at the headquarters of Savoonga, the Headhunters and the Radio Rats, and the PDA has a second row of sections.
The full list is in the Changelog.
