Dear fans of post-apocalyptic settings! Over the past months we have been working on increasing the dynamism of combat and the convenience of movement.

 

We can’t wait to tell you about all the new features, but we’ll start with a video demonstrating the changes to the movement system.

 

CHANGES TO THE MOVEMENT SYSTEM

 


 

Movement across the map is now decoupled from the hexagonal grid, which gives players more precise control over exactly where their character will move. Visually, movement has become smoother, getting rid of some of the previous limitations.

 

The movement animations have changed — separate animations are provided for the upper and lower parts of the characters’ bodies.

 

Also, the player’s character has learned to follow the direction of the cursor’s movement, which made it possible to introduce an additional mode of walking and running backwards into the game.

 

One of the character control options has become the WASD keys, using the cursor to interact with objects or targets on the map.
