We are opening the development Support Shop for our game. Now you can directly help us with the game’s development by buying one of the Support Packs with various in-game items.

For a long time we refused any option of monetizing development at all.

Because the game was previously at very early stages of creation, we considered it wrong for us to take money from people for a “pig in a poke” — and only once we had a playable alpha version, which many players played during the continuously ongoing testing, did we decide to take this step. After first waiting another couple of months of testing and gathering detailed feedback — for which, once again, a huge thank you to our testers!

While communicating with the community, from time to time you suggested various options for how best to handle the monetization process, and we decided to take the classic path of selling Packs and currency packs, which is familiar for MMOs.

By purchasing Support Packs and ECO currency packs, you will give us the opportunity to expand our team, speeding up the pace of development thanks to the creation of more content and mechanics. Your help at this stage will be invaluable to us.

We want to emphasize our gratitude for the fact that you believed in us with memorable items from the Pack, which will always stay with your character. They cannot be lost. Regardless of wipes.

These don’t necessarily have to be super-powerful, imbalanced items that would sooner or later make the game uninteresting for those who acquired such an item. But such exclusive items will only belong to those who supported us right now.

The items in the Support Packs are themed and inseparably tied to the frozen wastelands — the distinctive features of the gear will allow you not just to show off, but also to settle into a particular role, be it a wandering traveler, a battle-hardened raider, or a survivalist ready for anything.

It’s also important to note that the items from the Support Pack won’t be available to equip right from level 1 — like all game items, they have level requirements. It would be strange to give, in exchange for feasible help with our cause, items that would only be useful in the very first stages of the game.

The list of rewards in the Packs will gradually expand: over time we will add new items and other types of rewards, including quite role-playing ones — as content and mechanics become ready.

Support Packs can be bought only 1 of each kind per account. It is not yet possible to purchase them as a gift.

In addition to the Support Packs, the Shop also has ECO currency packs — a special currency accepted by Rum-Runners, traders in rarities and unique goods.

The prices for these packs are significantly reduced — and after the game’s release, everyone who purchased them will be credited with a bonus amount of in-game currency.

At the present moment, ECO currency packs are a flexible way to support us financially without the need to buy Support Packs.

 
Right now, while we are developing the alpha, it is not yet possible to buy anything with the donation currency. Please understand us correctly — development comes first, not the donation shop.

ALPHA TEST NEWS

Also, we’ll be glad to see you as a participant in the closed alpha test.

A big update is being prepared ahead of our engine update, so very soon we will add a new wave of testers.

The update will include developments on the Cold mechanic, as well as new quests and the innovations associated with them.

To take part in testing our game, send an application to the email address alpha@lastfrontier.ru, indicating:

1) Name or nickname.
2) Age.
3) Amount of free time per day / Number of free days per week.
4) Optionally, you may indicate whether you have experience participating in the testing of any games. However, this point is no longer the main criterion for selecting forms.

At the same time, purchasing a Support Pack or an ECO currency pack also grants guaranteed quick access to the test.
