Preparing for the Alpha Test

15 July 2022

Dear community! We are glad to announce that we are beginning preparations for the next stage of testing. In the near future, the first closed alpha version of the game will be launched.

PREPARING FOR CAT-1

For many long months we implemented the core mechanics in the first iterations, focusing on achieving the right dynamics of real-time combat and laying the foundation for the tactical possibilities of an extensive role-playing system. Relying on testers’ feedback, we sometimes had to radically change the fundamentals, but by the third pre-alpha we were able to move forward, adding additional mechanics.

The painstaking bug-hunting by the testing participants, which began right away with the verification of the technical demo, continues to this day, significantly accelerating the improvement of the game’s stability and giving us the opportunity to start implementing new features even now.

The lengthy work on a major engine update is also in its final stage, which after some time will allow us to substantially diversify the graphics and deepen the gameplay with previously unavailable capabilities.

And now we need your help — take part in the closed alpha test of our game!

CLOSED ALPHA TEST

The main goal of the first closed alpha test is to gather feedback. We are starting to build up the amount of game content, and we would like to know the testers’ opinion regarding all aspects of the game.

As practice has shown, it is extremely important to stay in contact with the players even at the very earliest stages of implementation. Bug-hunting still remains an important task for the test, but we understand that many of you would simply like to take a look at an early version of Last Frontier and play.

The first closed alpha test will begin next week.

We will announce the exact start date of CAT-1 in the coming days.
