The Second Stage of the Closed Alpha Test

29 March 2023

We’re launching the second stage of our game’s closed alpha test, starting with the transition to an updated version of the game engine.

This update was developed in parallel with the rest of the work throughout all of 2022, and it will let us both expand the capabilities of the gameplay mechanics and seriously diversify the game’s visuals.

Adding support for a large number of varied effects when using weapons, effects around objects and characters, global and local weather effects — we’ll gradually demonstrate how they work on the new engine version.

The map editor’s capabilities have also expanded significantly, allowing us to implement the planned complex structures of new types and to change our approach to working with lighting, which will later be used in the further development of combat mechanics.

At the moment, the work of porting mechanics and game content from previous versions is almost complete, and we’re actively engaged in fixing bugs related to the transition.

And as soon as we finish a number of tasks, a new wave of testing will begin, during which we plan to simplify and speed up the process of adding new participants to the test.
