Happy New Year 2024!

30 December 2023

Dear community! 2023 is drawing to a close — a year in which we passed through every stage of the alpha test and came right up to the closed beta.

Almost the entire year, apart from a couple of days, our server ran nonstop and testing went on. We held about a dozen waves of adding new participants to the alpha check. We updated the game regularly, and once we achieved acceptable mechanical stability, we moved to the practice of large updates, expanding the game’s set of mechanics and content again and again.

Making our way out of Vault ED-17 onto the wastelands near New Gambell, we reached the entire western part of St. Lawrence Island, and we’re now actively exploring the center of the starting region’s global map — with its settlements, dangerous ruins, and mysterious bunkers hidden beneath the ice and snow.

Testers who believed in us walked this path with us. Founders who chose to support our game financially even at the alpha stage. Main testers who diligently checked every new feature so the main flow of players would meet fewer bugs. Moderators who help newcomers settle into the game.

Content creators supported us too, making videos, running live streams, and posting on news portals and social-media groups — thanks to which ever more people keep learning about our game.

Finally, activity on our social media and Discord server grew noticeably this year. You discuss the news, give feedback, criticize and praise, showing your interest.

Thank you all so much!

This time we decided not to spend energy on a New Year event, but to focus on what we’ve been doing for the past months — actively working on the beta, so we can start the new testing stage as soon as possible and give access to the beta, including to new players.

In the year ahead we wish you to keep a positive outlook on better things. We hope the atomic apocalypse will surely march across the planet — but strictly in fictional worlds and universes.

Happy New Year!
